Community Guidelines

Our Values

Compassion

We share empathy & try to support each other the best we can. That can mean just listening, talking about your experience, sharing best practices & co.

Human

Crazy that this needs to be a value, but we created a world that rarely reflects this. Here, you can be yourself. No need to wear a mask. None of us is perfect.

Action

The change we need in this world starts with all of us. So, in this community, we want to embody how we can build a wilder world.

Our Community Guidelines

We are no big fan of rules, but these are crucial to protect every member and to live our mission & values.

🇺🇸 Write in English |

For everyone to feel included, let’s stick to English in the public channels. If you are writing per DM, no problem. Switch to the languages you are most comfortable with. If you struggle with writing in English, check out Deepl; we use it daily.

💚 Be kind |

We’re all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let’s treat everyone with respect. Healthy debate is natural, but kindness is required. We’re sitting in the same boat and working to build each other up (and not down).

No hate speech or bullying |

Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be tolerated. You will be removed and banned without warning if you’re rude, condescending, snarky, or disrespectful to anyone within the group.

💸 No promotions |

Give more to this group than you take. Self-promotion, spam, and irrelevant links aren’t allowed. The exception is in the PROMOTION space.

✌️ Friendliness towards mistakes |

We’re human, and we’re all learning. Mistakes can happen, so please be kind and help other members grow from faux pas.

🙊 Respect everyone’s privacy |

Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great but may also be sensitive and private. What’s shared in the group should stay in the group.

Ask questions |

Our community was created to be a safe space to share about nature & how to create a wilder world. We’re all learning here and there are no right or wrong answers.
