March 3rd – Why a Brilliant Nature Company Failed & What We Can Learn From It / Masterclass

📅 March 3
⏰ 1 – 2 pm CET

He tried to scale a nature data company. Then it went bankrupt. Here’s what actually happened.

Tom Ludwig was Head of Client Solutions at biometrio.earth – the kind of company that should have worked. They were helping project developers and corporates measure real biodiversity outcomes.

The tech was solid. The problem was real.

Then 2025 hit, and suddenly the capital that everyone said was coming to nature markets just… wasn’t.

This Tuesday he’s coming to talk about what went wrong, what went right, and why it matters that we talk about both.

💪 You’ll walk away with:

→ Why a genuinely good product still failed (and what that tells us about the market right now)
→ What Tom learned about translating complex nature data into commercial deals that actually happen
→ How to spot the difference between product failure and market timing failure

He’s now co-founded Corridors of Finance. Telling stories on how private capital is successfully being deployed in nature markets. He’s living the pivot & sharing his story.

March 10th – $50M Raised, 3 Exits, 1 Funeral: What Actually Works in VC Fundraising / Masterclass

📅 March 10
⏰ 1 – 2 pm CET

Manoj Harasgama has raised $50M across multiple startups. Exited three of them. Buried one. And now he sits on both sides. As a founder building Crosstown H2R, and as an investor backing others.

He knows what works in fundraising. And right now, for nature founders, the biggest challenge is still getting capital in the first place.

This Tuesday he’s walking you through the playbook: how to pitch so VCs actually say yes, which mistakes kill deals before you walk in the room, and what to look for beyond the money.

Because the right investor brings expertise, connections, and real support that matters.

💪 You’ll walk away with:

→ The pitch deck that actually converts
→ The 5 fundraising mistakes killing your round
→ How to evaluate an investor beyond the check they write

He’s lived all sides of this game. Founder. Builder. Investor.

March 17th – Finance 101: Finance Doesn’t Have to Be Scary / Masterclass

📅 March 17
⏰ 8 – 9 pm CET

First part of the masterclass, the second part is on March 24.

You started this because you care about nature. Not because you wanted to become fluent in EBITDA and burn rates and margin calculations.

But here’s the thing: understanding your finances isn’t about becoming an accountant. It’s about staying alive long enough to do the work that matters.

Belen Pistek has spent years translating finance into human language at Blinkist, one of the fastest-growing tech companies out there.

She’s seen founders freeze up when the numbers come out. She’s also seen the ones who stopped being afraid of them and suddenly had real control over their business.

This Tuesday she’s doing a masterclass on the basics: what EBITDA actually means, how to read your burn rate, what margin really tells you, VAT, forecasting. All the stuff that feels overwhelming until someone explains it without the jargon.

💪 You’ll walk away with:

→ The five financial metrics every founder needs to understand (and why they matter)
→ How to read your numbers without panicking
→ What to ask your accountant so you actually understand the answer

She’s building her side project around exclusively sustainable projects. She gets why you started this. She’s just going to make sure the money side doesn’t kill it.

March 19th – Wild Idea into Action Gathering / Free Event

📅 March 19
⏰ 8 – 9 pm CET

When we launched the Free AI tool Wild Idea Finder to help folks coming up with nature NGO/companies, we didn’t expect so many people to be interested.

Yet the idea is only the 1st step. Now let’s take the second.

We will host a free event to:

✅ Give you the opportunity to share the idea you came up with
✅ Find potential co-founders, collaborators or supporters
✅ Oliver will share some useful actions you can take next

+ it holds us all accountable to pursue all these wild ideas & actually take action.

March 24th – Build Your First Financial Model Step-by-Step / Masterclass

📅 March 24
⏰ 8 – 9 pm CET

Second part of the masterclass, the first part is on March 17.

You understand the basics now. EBITDA, burn rate, margin. You’re not scared anymore.

Now comes the part that actually shapes your business: building a financial model that works.

Most nature founders either skip this entirely (which is how you end up surprised by reality) or try to build something so complex it breaks under its own weight. Belen Pitsek‘s done both mistakes. She’s also figured out the middle ground.

This Tuesday she’s walking you through building your first financial model. The one that actually tells you if your nature venture can survive. She’s created a template that’s simple enough to follow, real enough to matter, and flexible enough to evolve as your business does.

You’ll follow along step-by-step. Fill it in as she explains it. Leave with something you can actually use.

💪 You’ll walk away with:

→ How to build a financial model that doesn’t feel like rocket science
→ The assumptions you actually need to get right
→ How to stress-test your model so you see the hard truths early

Bring your laptop. Bring your numbers. Bring your questions. This one’s hands-on.
