FAQ
Why does Wildya exist?
We want to empower you to build a wilder world. Take matters into your own hands. Assist you in increasing your positive impact.
Can I help?
Yes!
We’re on an audacious mission to tackle the biodiversity crisis. So we need every help we can get.
Just write us at oliver.dauert@wildya.earth
Here are a couple of ideas on how you can help:Ā
- Share Wildya with your friends, colleagues & co.
- Provide feedback & ideas so that we know what to do better
- Offer your skills or knowledge for a bootcamp, course, collaboration etc.
- Subscribe to our free Impact Millionaire newsletter
- Volunteer with usĀ
Who is the Fractional Executive Team for?
It’s for nature NGOs and companies that are already running and have funding, but are stuck scaling their impact and can’t figure out why.
You need someone to execute alongside you, not just hand you a strategy deck.
It’s not for you if you’re pre-idea, have zero revenue and zero funding, or are looking for cheap consulting. The bootcamp or self-paced course are better starting points in that case.
Why you have different prices for different incomes?
Biodiversity is a global challenge & we need all hands on deck. Unfortunately, income however is vastly different depending where you live, what privileges you have or what career path you have chosen. To keep Wildya inclusive, we wanted to reflect & address that reality. We believe we found a fair approach for everyone. If you disagree please reach out to us (oliver.dauert@wildya.earth)
Does Wildya offer bootcamp scholarships?
Yes, occasionally. A limited number of spots per cohort are funded by sponsors, exclusively for people from underfunded regions. Availability varies per cohort.
To see if there are spots currently available, write to oliver.dauert@wildya.earth.Ā
How can I change my Circle notifications and emails?
If you’re a bootcamp member or taking our self-paced course, you’ll be using Circle. We never want to spam you.
Unfortunately we can’t set up the notifications for you, you’ll need to adjust the settings yourself. You can find out how to do that here.
Do you offer a money-back guarantee?
Yes, across all paid offerings.
Not happy with the bootcamp after week 2? Full refund.
Not satisfied with the Fractional Executive Team after the first month? We don’t get paid.
Self-paced course not delivering? Money back.
No questions asked in all cases.
Does Wildya work with NGOs or only nature startups?
Both.
Whether you’re building a nature company or running an NGO, Wildya is built for you. The bootcamp and self-paced course are for anyone starting a nature venture ā company or NGO.
The Fractional Executive Team works with nature NGOs and companies who want to scale up their impact.Ā
What is Circle?
Circle is the software tool we use to host our bootcamp and self-paced courses. You may see their name occasionally, like when you download their app.
What is The Impact Millionaire?
It’s our free weekly newsletter for people starting or scaling a nature venture.
Every week, one actionable tip, system, or resource, max 60-120 seconds reading time.
No fluff, no paywall. Just real action. 4,000+ ecopreneurs already read it.
You can subscribe here.
What is Wildya's Nature Positive Business Model Canvas?
It’s a free template designed by Oliver Dauert (founder of Wildya), built on Alexander Osterwalder’s original Business Model Canvas.
With one big difference: it puts nature into the equation.
It helps you map out where your nature venture is currently blocked, how to boost your nature impact, and whether your idea is worth building.Ā
What's the difference between the bootcamp and the self-paced course?
Same material. Different format.
The bootcamp (ā¬747) gives you 8 weeks of live group calls, 1:1 calls with Oli or Michelle, a peer group of 16 ecopreneurs, and constant feedback on your specific venture.
The self-paced course (ā¬147) gives you the same videos and Ecopreneur OS, but you go at your own speed, no group, no live feedback.
Work better with deadlines and a support network? Ecopreneur Beginner Bootcamp.
Prefer figuring things out on your own schedule? Self-paced course.
Why is not everything for free at Wildya?
Unfortunately, we have to pay bills, too. Our bootcamp, self-paced course and Fractional Executive Team are paid because that’s what allows us to keep doing this work and keep improving it.
On top of that, 15% of our revenue goes straight to nature protection.
We do have a money-back guarantee though. If you feel we didn’t deliver the value we promised, just write to oliver.dauert@wildya.earthĀ
What happens with the money?
- 15% goes to pay nature (Niue Ocean Wide)
- Cover the platform costs
- Cover costs of tools that are neededĀ Ā
- Cover the payment fees
- One day hopefully, salaries š¤
